JAY | Owner | hairstylist

Jay has been in the incredible hair industry for over 26 years and loves everything about it! She is addicted to continuing her education and refining her craft. She has attended numerous cutting and coloring classes, from New York to California and everywhere in between. She even attended Vidal Sassoon Academy in London! In addition to following her dream of opening her own salon, she also accomplished styling for New York Fashion Week several years in a row, assisting on the set of 'So You Think You Can Dance,' did hair for a short film, and became an educator for Pravana! She loves teaching but her first love will always be behind the chair! She loves doing color corrections & creating a cut that flatters.

ANINA | hairstylist

Anina has been working in the industry since 2015. She can honestly say that no other career can bring her as much happiness as the beauty industry! Since she started her journey, Anina has taken numerous classes and workshops to keep her up to date with the industry which has allowed her to stay extremely motivated to grow. Being a brunette, she loves to live vicariously through her guests...so balayage and highlights have become something that she is very passionate about. Anina specializes in brunettes and lived in color!

HALEIGH | hairstylist

Haleigh has been in the hair industry for several years now and is very passionate about what she does and is very eager to continue her education. She has found that her absolute strengths are in highlighting, balayage, and special occasion styling! Within a short time frame in the industry, she has sat in on classes with Ted Gibson and the Ted Gibson Artistic Team, Damien Carney, Unite, and Pravana cut and color classes...along with many more. This industry is truly so rewarding, and I love to make my guests feel more beautiful and happier than ever!

KYLE | hairstylist

Kyle has been with Jay Marie Salon since day one and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017. He has attended many classes with amazing industry leaders such as Ted Gibson, Damien Carney, Jacob Kahn, the Lock and Loaded Team, and many more! He has a passion for pixie cuts, men's haircutting, and all haircoloring. Kyle loves a challenge, and it makes his day when a guest is ready for a big change.

SAM | hairstylist

Sam has been doing hair since 2013. She loves the beauty industry. She loves the creativity that it allows while giving someone the perfect cut, color, or style to fit their features and personality. Sam is constantly taking classes to stay current and fuel her passion. Sam is also our lead educator at Jay Marie Salon. Her passion for the industry has given her the opportunity to have her work published in global magazines, and work backstage on shows with celebrity stylist. Sam prides herself on listening and doing a thorough consultation so everyone is on the same page and you get the results you are envisioning.

ABBY | hairstylist

Abby has been in the industry since 2020. After a year of assisting for 2 salons and 5 months of her apprenticeship program, she has been working full time on the floor at our salon since April 2022.
Abby has a passion for doing vivid colors and lived-in blondes, and is devoting lots of time and practice into becoming a vivid specialist. When Abby isn’t behind the chair, you can find her spending time out in nature, or tucked in with a good book during the colder months.

JACKIE | hairstylist

Hi, I’m Jackie! I’ve been doing hair for 6 years with a love for all things color! After taking some time away from behind the chair, I’m so excited to be back doing what I love most—connecting with clients and helping them feel even more beautiful than they already are!

Outside of the salon, I’m a wife and proud mama to twin girls who keep me busy and grounded. When I’m not spending time with family, you’ll probably find me enjoying a little retail therapy or rewatching Grey’s Anatomy for the hundredth time!
